The Wicked Wood Games team delivered a strong performance at the ACL Slovakia Open 2025, including a podium finish for EJ Vondran (3rd in Singles) and top-5 results for Gunni Reitz and Stefano Sturaro. Wicked Wood Team Shines at ACL Slovakia Open 2025

This past weekend, Bratislava was all about top-notch cornhole during the ACL Slovakia Open 2025 , and the Wicked Wood Games team was there in full force. In a field full of international class, our players showed why they are among the best in Europe. Here’s a look at their impressive performances.

🎯 EJ Vondran: podium place in a strong field

EJ proved his class again by achieving a fantastic 3rd place in Singles . In a field full of top players he managed to fight his way to the podium with consistent play and mental sharpness. EJ also threw strongly in the popular SWAP event , which resulted in a neat 9th place .

🔥 Gunni Reitz: stable and strong

Gunni proved that he feels comfortable on the European circuit with a 5th place in Singles . His attacking style of play and tight blocks stood out again. Together with his swap partner he also managed to secure a 3rd place in the SWAP event — a nice reward for his consistency.

🇮🇹 Stefano Sturaro: international team spirit

Stefano, always good for fire and flair, finished in 17th place in Singles . In the Blind Draw he came to a nice 5th place , together with Aurimas Roscinas. The Italian player showed again his versatility and team spirit.

🇩🇪 Marc Hemmler: stable in Doubles

Together with partner Zdenka Spakova, Marc played a strong tournament in the Doubles format. Their collaboration led to a neat 7th place , with which they managed to mingle with the established teams.

🇳🇱 Rico Krull: fighting spirit in every format

Rico had a busy weekend with participation in multiple formats. He ended in 13th place in Singles , and in a shared 13th place in Doubles together with Hendrik Kranz. In the SWAP round he also threw himself to a solid 9th place . A weekend full of battle and experience for the Dutch player.
